But they had to settle for only one goal this time against Bruno’s Magpies at the Second Division Cup Final on Sunday.
Both teams had chances in the first half, but only FCO 13 took it to a goal through Alejandro Gonzales Espinosa who pushed the ball into the net early in the first half.
The game got more intense and aggressive towards the end of the second half. At the same time, Bruno’s Gray could finish the build up and shoot past Carenote. The second goal followed soon by Bruno’s Wyatt and sealed the win. Olympique tried to equal in the last regular minutes but also in the 3-minutes add up, they couldn’t change the outcome.
The team worked hard to get to the final stage and fought until the last minute for the win. Although the lads got the sporting fairness to admit the lost and congratulate Bruno”s Magpies by giving them a guard of honour as they collected their winner medals.
